1994: First Lady Hillary Clinton on opponents to her healthcare plan:

"Well, you know I think they are a combination of the same kind of people who have been around in our country since its beginnings, the sort of ideologically-opposed who think that nobody should get anything from anybody else."

The New York Times reports for the first time on a real estate venture involving Presidential candidate Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary.  The venture, "Whitewater Development", owned more than 200 Arkansas acres, and sold lots to be developed as vacation homes.  The Times reported that funds from the Madison Guaranty S&L, owned by the Clintons' partner, Jim McDougall, had been used to fund Whitewater operations.  Madison was subject to regulation by then-Gov. Clinton, and eventually went bankrupt.

“Report: There Was Enough Evidence To Indict Former President”

March 2002-   Robert W. Ray, the special prosecutor investigating alleged perjury and obstruction of justice by former President Bill Clinton regarding his testimony on his relationship with Monica Lewinsky, issues his final report.

Using his discretion as a prosecutor, Ray declined to bring any charges, despite the fact that "the independent counsel's judgment that sufficient evidence existed to prosecute President Clinton was confirmed by President Clinton's admissions,"

Mr. Ray, in his report, stated that Clinton's penalties already paid were adequate punishment for his false and misleading testimony about Ms. Lewinsky during the Paula Jones sexual harassment case. The judge in that case had fined him for contempt of court, and the former President was also stripped of his license to practice law as a result of the case.

"I ended up voting for the resolution after carefully reviewing the information and intelligence that I had available, talking with people whose opinions I trusted, trying to discount political or other factors that I didn't believe should be in any way a part of this decision. And it is unfortunate that we are at the point of a potential military action to enforce the resolution. That is not my preference. It would be far preferable if we not only had legitimate cooperation from Saddam Hussein and a willingness on his part to disarm and to account for his chemical and biological storehouses, but if we had a much broader alliance and coalition."

The Clinton White House denies a request from the American Medical Association for positions on Hillary Clinton's healthcare task force.

The head of the 290,000 AMA had earlier requested a role for it within the 400-member task force, asking the First Lady to "bring us into the process, and we can help make it work."

How the Clintons wrapped up Hillary's Thesis

In early 1993, representatives of the Clinton Administration contacted Hillary Clinton's alma mater, Wellesley College, to request that her senior thesis not be released for review by the general public.  Seeking to portray themselves as "moderate", the Clinton's feared a backlash should her glowing review of the life and tactics of radical Chicago activist Saul Alinsky be made available.

Submitting to the Clintons' request, a new rule was put into effect at Wellesley in 1993, keeping under wraps the writings of any President or First Lady, a rule that applied to only one alumna, Hillary Clinton.  At the end of Bill Clinton's two terms, the thesis became available for review, under Wellesley's terms, which allow for no photocopying or removal from the archives, although a single microfilm copy is available for inter-library loans.

Bill & Hillary's Temperaments

"The difference between their temperaments is very simple as far as I'm concerned. He gets angry, and he gets over it. She gets angry, and she remembers it forever."

Reuters reports on the "Madame Tussauds" wax museum planned for Washington D.C.

Wax statues of Presidents George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Thomas Jefferson are due to be displayed, as well as wax representations of President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary.

No wax figure of Monica Lewinsky was planned for the Clinton exhibit, although public interest may cause the museum to reconsider.

"Maybe I should go back and look a little deeper", said Janine DiGioacchino, general manager for Tussauds' New York and Washington museums.

U.S. Public Service Academy

In 2007, Sen. Hillary Clinton, at a press conference on Capitol Hill, proposed the creation of a U.S. Public Service Academy.

Based on the U.S. military academies, the U.S. Public Service Academy would provide a free 4-year college education to as many as 5,000 students in return for a 5-year commitment to work as a teacher or in government.

Both teachers unions and government worker unions are strong supporters of the Democratic Party.

Hillary Used to Think Wal-Mart Was Great...

In 2006, the Associated Press reported that Sen. Hillary Clinton had begun to distance herself from her past association with Wal-Mart, a mega-retailer which is constantly under attack from union activists.

While her husband was serving as governor of Arkansas, Hillary Clinton was appointed to Wal-Mart's board of directors, where she served as a director for six years.  Hillary Clinton's firm, the Rose Law Firm, also earned a significant level of fees from its representation of Wal-Mart.

As compensation for her board service, Hillary Clinton was paid $18,000 per year, plus an additional $1,500 for each board meeting she attended.  Wal-Mart also gave the Clintons free use of its corporate planes a total of 14 times in 1990 and 1991 as Bill Clinton began his run for the 1992 Democratic Presidential nomination.

Hillary and the Yale Review of Law and Social Action

While a student at Yale Law School, Hillary Rodham served as an editor for the Yale Review of Law and Social Action.

During her term as editor, the Review published an issue with several anti-police cartoons, including:

-  a group of pigs in police uniforms grunting the "N-word"

-  another cartoon portraying a "police pig" under the heading "What is a Pig? A low-natured beast that has no regard for law, justice or the rights of people."

-  a third depicting a "police pig" being shot at, under the caption, "Seize The Time!"

Hillary Fights to Keep Impeachment Taboo

February 2007- The Washington Post reports that Sen. Hillary Clinton's Presidential campaign had put all of her competitors for the 2008 Democratic Presidential on notice that the issue of her husband's impeachment was a subject never to be mentioned.

Although quick to point out the positive moments of her husband's presidency, Sen. Hillary Clinton prefers to keep the issues relating to his impeachment on perjury and obstruction of justice in the past.

"We will likely never know the truth about Juanita Broaddrick's accusation against Bill Clinton.  It's virtually impossible to prove or defend against a 21-year-old rape charge. Perhaps the best way to respond is to call on President Clinton and his supporters not to launch a broadside against his accuser and to urge the president and the Congress to work to improve the status of women.

Now that she has come forward with her story, the National Organization for Women urges everyone to treat Juanita Broaddrick fairly and respectfully and to take her charges seriously.  She must not be besieged by attacks on her mental state or character.

NOW calls on President Clinton to denounce this "nuts or sluts" defense, the argument that she either made it up or asked for it.  The president should pledge publicly not to seek, or leak, irrelevant sexual history or other parts of Ms. Broaddrick's personal or work life, and not  to let anyone do so on his behalf."

HillaryCare- The Cost

February 1993- The New York Times reports that the latest estimates for Hillary Clinton's healthcare reform peg the projected cost between $30 million and $90 million.

In order to fund this spending, Mrs. Clinton's task force was reported to be considering taxes on insurance premiums, corporate health benefits, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and guns.
