Since voting to authorize war on Iraq, Sen. Hillary Clinton’s stances have shown a steady evolution, going through each of the following seven stages:

1)        She voted for the war;

2)        She questioned the intelligence that her arguments for war were based on;

3)        She claimed that the Bush administration had distorted the intelligence;

4)        She said that she didn't regret giving Bush authority to go to war, but she did regret the way he used that authority;

5)        She said that the war resolution wouldn’t have come to vote if we know what we know now;

6)        She said that a war resolution wouldn’t have passed if we knew what we know now; to finally

7)        Now saying that she wouldn't have voted for war if she knew then what she knows now. 

Hillary Clinton's brother, Hugh Rodham, returns the nearly $400,000 he received from two clients in return for his successful lobbying for their last-minute pardons from President Bill Clinton.  The press had recently uncovered the payments. 

Almon Glenn Braswell, the first of the two pardons secured by Hugh Rodham on the last day of Bill Clinton's presidency, had already served his 5 year sentence for fraud relating to claims relating to a baldness cure.  The pardon by President Clinton wiped the conviction off of his record.

February 2007- Sen. Hillary Clinton introduces a bill (and simultaneously releases a video on her presidential campaign's website), requiring the President to begin withdrawing U.S. troops from Iraq within 90 days. 

"If George Bush doesn't end the war before he leaves office, when I'm president, I will,"  

February 2000-  In an appearance on WNBC-TV's "News Forum," Senatorial candidate Clinton says that she has "given up trying to tell anybody that I really was a Yankee fan. Nobody, I think, will believe me."

February 1993- In an interview with the New York Times, First Lady Hillary Clinton reveals that smoking has now been banned in all parts of the White House.

Commander-in-Chief Bill Clinton, a cigar aficionado, takes up the habit of chewing on, but not smoking, cigars while working in the Oval Office.

Most proposals for expand health care coverage consist of:
    -tax incentives to employers to provide insurance coverage;
    -allowing the self-employed the same tax deduction for insurance coverage as employer-provided coverage;
    -subsidies to low-income people to buy insurance coverage;

Senator Clinton’s latest proposal seems to go to the left of all of these, eliminating insurance coverage from the equation, so that WE can PROVIDE the health care.

Very scary, indeed.
